Powerful Irish Love Spells
Firstly, there is technically no such thing as “traditional Irish witchcraft,” however, there are most definitely rituals, ceremonies, chants, ingredients and other elements of spell casting more prone for Irish witches to cast, and thus, it is simply frequently referred to as Irish Magick and Irish Spell Casting. With that said, the Irish have still been long notorious for their spell casting and magick arts. The Irish have the stigma surrounding the use of Celtic magick in their spells. It is even true that many Wiccans are Irish, and consider themselves “Irish Wiccan Witches.” Being Irish changes a lot, as special celtic power runs through the veins, and when properly utilized, it can make spell casting a lot stronger. However, you do not have to be Irish to cast Irish Love Spells (or Celtic Love Spells if you prefer).
How to Cast a Strong Irish Love Spell
Casting an Irish-style Love Spell is simpler than it sounds. With a few basic ingredients and the understanding of an Irish chant, anyone can cast their own Irish love spell.
- 5 cups of clovers (freshly picked works best)
- 4 cups of salt (or just bring the entire canister)
- 2 Green Candles
- 2 White Candles
- 2 Red Candles
- 1 Carving utensil for the candles
- 1 Lighter or match for the candles
- 1 Paper or parchment and writing utensil
- 1 Sealable container
- 1 Picture of the target lover (must be alone in the picture – you can cut their face out of a picture if necessary or even print one off the internet or from social media)
- 1 Picture of yourself (same deal, needs to be you and only you in the picture, even can be a freshly taken photo)
- 1 Twine or string of some kind (vines work really great as they are of nature)
Casting the Actual Celtic Love Spell:
Step #1. Collect clovers. Clovers possess a huge value in Irish love spells. Most people probably only think that clovers hold energy and have properties that attract money and nothing more….however, this is not true, and when used in combination with an Irish Spell Chant, clovers are magnetized to work together to provide a plethora of highly-malleable spell energy for any type of spell, including an Irish Love Spell.
Step #2. Use the salt to draw a circle around you, this spell is more powerful when cast outdoors in a peaceful, quiet place. Much like a Druid love spell. You should have enough room in the circle to keep all your ingredients and for you to be able to sit comfortably.
Step #3. Spread 4 cups of the clovers in a circle, around you RIGHT ON TOP of the salt. It will look like a combination of salt and clovers. That’s important – the entire circle has to be composed of salt and clovers. The clovers infuse the circle to generate the power of the Irish ancestors. You need to save one cup worth of the clovers, as it is needed in the rest of the spell.
Step #4. Carve a heart, the universal symbol of love, into every candle, all 6 of them. The white candles are protective and form a special solidifying energy around the progress your love spell makes, they help contribute the power to make the spell permanent. The green candles draw the Celtic energy and will be contributing an infusion of power from the ancestors of the Irish (if you or the target are Irish, it makes it stronger, although it is not required that either individual is Irish). And the red candles draw powerful love energy.
Step #5. Carve Your initials into the GREEN candles (anywhere, even within the heart if you want). Also carve a CELTIC KNOT into the green candles. Your initials ONLY should be carved into the green candles – not your lover’s initials. Your lover (the target of the spell), even if they are Irish, are not asking the Irish ancestors for their power – YOU ARE, thus YOUR initials are what you carve into the green candles.
Step #6. Carve YOUR LOVER’S INITIALS and DATE OF BIRTH into _ONE_ of the red candles, anywhere on the candle, even in the heart if you would like. Then carve YOUR INITIALS and DATE OF BIRTH into the _SECOND_ of the red candles, again, anywhere on the candle that you would like.
Step #7. Begin by lighting the white candles and stating the words:
“The Irish survive and thrive and I call them to thy circle.”
(Repeat it once for each of the two candles you light).
Step #8. Light the green candles and state the words:
“The power of the Irish is alive to strive. Bless Thy Circle with the Powers of the Irish Eyes.”
(Repeat it once for each of the two candles you light).
Step #9. Fold the two photos evenly together, even if you have to fold them a few times, to get them to about the size of a smartphone or a wallet. Rolling them is alternatively acceptable.
Step #10. Light the red candles (no chant necessary for these).
Step #11. Using the twine, string or vine, carefully being “binding” around the photos, wrapping the photos until the twine or string is completely used, chanting while you wrap:
“Spin thy heart to thou soul and thy soul to thou heart. With the Irish Eyes I Blessed It Be.”
Note: this is not a binding love spell, however, the action of wrapping is considered potency building and a way to “spin” the power of the Irish into the spell, intertwining the two souls with the power Irish energy of love.
Step #12. Place the wrapped photos into the sealable container, and empty the clovers into the container stating:
“I infuse our bond with the power of the Irish forever!”
This chant should be said a total of three times.
Step #13. Close your eyes and meditate for no less than 3 minutes. The longer the better, within reason (no need to meditate more than 30 minutes for this ritual, you do not want to fall asleep).
Step #14. The rest of the ritual should be extremely quiet, no more chants or words should be spoken, let the clovers do their job. Pour the pool of wax that has formed in the white candles, onto the clovers and wrapped photos, getting the wax all in the sealable container. Repeat this with the green candles. And finally repeat this again with the red candles.
Step #15. Seal the container. Blow the candles out. Clean up.
Step #16. Keep the container sealed and somewhere safe until results of the spell have manifested, and then bury the container, burn the container (if it is a material that is safe to burn). Do not dispose of it where it can be tampered with. The container cannot be dismantled otherwise for at least 2 years. If you want to hold onto the container, it is acceptable to keep it somewhere safe with you for 2 years after the spell has manifested, and then you can dismantle the container, and get rid of all the contents without worrying about the spell weakening or dissipating.
Final Irish Love Spell Notes
Remember, an Irish or Celtic love spell is no different in terms of repetition than any other love spell. ALL love spells of ALL types, generally are amplified and receive huge potency bonus from casting them more than once. Three times is standard, and is usually called “Triple Cast.” Thus, a ‘Triple Cast Irish Love Spell,’ would be a Celtic-based love spell that is cast three times. Similarly, it is important to remember that some people will be immune to Irish-based casting techniques, and thus it is sometimes best to use a variety of spells, especially on stubborn individuals. Or maybe couple your Irish Love Spell with a few sprays of a love spell perfume like Venitie’s Siren Myst (Venitie.com).
